docehrenhoefer 5 Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 Hello!Though I patched to version 1.03 of twin otter missions, I got 2 problems: 1. Alaska Transit I: at some time after Talkeetna, I beginn to lose fuel. I managed to do an emergency landing on UMM (Summit), but afterwards just nothing happens... no comment, nothing else. Is there a solution, or is it a redemption for flying too high? 2. Northwest Cargo: Same problem as posted somewhere else in this forum, I don't hear any radio traffic, no mission targets, no mission compass... If you follow the plan etc it will go through to the end successfully.As for the Northwest Cargo I do get the same issue as mentioned. It seems like just a flight situation has been loaded and nothing more.Jim if you could please give me more details as to what the problem might be with the xml file then we could use it as a fix for the problem. Guest Hodge001 Posted June 8, 2008 Share Posted June 8, 2008 HiI just thought that I would post a little update, Ewe has contacted me to report that after using Leonards modified Northwest Cargo xml file that I sent, that it has also corrected the error with the mission sounds, compass etc that he was experiencing.The thing is that I understand from his previous post that he is running FSX+Acceleration, so my initial thoughts that the problem may be only for none acceleration installations would appear to be incorrect (aren’t computers fun).Jim Hodkinson Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Racn 1 Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Have had several issues with Twin Otter Missions. Taku Lodge, on loading, aircraft was on sand, was unable to move. After a clean install of FSX and Acceleration, with update 3 of the mission pack, Taku Lodge, on loading there was a splash water sound and my aircraft was in water, hurray.Installed Canada Alaska Vector, add on I purchased, Taku Lodge, on loading, aircraft was on sand, was unable to move.Uninstalled Canada Alaska Vector, Taku Lodge, on loading there was a splash water sound and my aircraft was in water. Hurray found my problem.However I have created myself a new problem, due to some other add ons which were not created by Manufacturers such as yourselves, I decided to do another clean install of FSX.All well and good until I go to reinstall my aerosoft products. I forgot to uninstall them from FSX before I uninstalled FSX.Now when I go to Add/Remove Programs and click Remove, I get an error, Set Up exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. When I view the information in the error report its way over my head, I dont understand any of it.Same error for the Twin Otter as well as the mission pack.When trying to reinstall them, I get message that Twin Otter Mission Pack or Twin Otter is already installed on the system, setup will now exit.Is there a solution for the issue I created?
