wf113 0
Hi, When I ask for a gate, the AES says: ''Memory Allocation Error. AES is deactivated. Press F10 to close.''And I can't see any gates on any airport.I have already installed every thing twice, but it doesn't change.WF113 Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/27069-aes-memory-allocation-error-aes-is-deactivated/ Share on other sites
Verified Developer OPabst 2091 Posted June 27, 2009 Verified Developer Share Posted June 27, 2009 Use the newest Version of AES (2.02) and you will not have this problem. wf113 0
but first I could use v2.0, so what is the failure?? Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/27069-aes-memory-allocation-error-aes-is-deactivated/#findComment-168894 Share on other sites
Verified Developer OPabst 2091 Posted June 27, 2009 Verified Developer Share Posted June 27, 2009 2.0 is the beta, not the final version. all before 2.01 will not work anymore. wf113 0
but 2 days ago, everything was fine. Everything was working Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/27069-aes-memory-allocation-error-aes-is-deactivated/#findComment-168898 Share on other sites
Verified Developer OPabst 2091 Posted June 27, 2009 Verified Developer Share Posted June 27, 2009 But you install Mallorca or Innsbruck, this needs the new modules, which are not anymore compatible to older AES Version. The new modules are absolut needed, because the protect you against unwanted allocation errors and CTD in high memory load situations. Where is you problem to install the newest version, are you useing hacker SN's and you are afraid that there are blocked now. Thats the only possible reason not to update. All that virus and other things. The error was after I had installed one world-of-ai airpline, Lufthansa. And that airpline I have got from a friend on a disk. And it has worked a few days ago.... Verified Developer OPabst 2091 Posted June 27, 2009 Verified Developer Share Posted June 27, 2009 Long discussion, short solution: Install AES 2.02, if you still have problems after that, you can come back here. That is appauling how you speak to people that use your product, I for one suffer from the same problem, and have spent good money on serials for this product, why should I everytime a new version of it comes out have to keep downloading it and updating it for it to work, I have purchased serials for this product, and no were does it stipulate that I need to keep on downloading newer versions to keep the software working, even though the software itself is free the serials are not, I have a good mind to take this to court!! dmike 1
and no were does it stipulate that I need to keep on downloading newer versions to keep the software working I think you are misunderstanding what Oliver is saying. There is no need to keep downloading in order for AES to keep working. But bugs keep getting fixed with newer versions, and new airports keeps getting added. But as far as I know ther is no need keep downloading. Can you please explain me, why it is so hard to keep a software up to date. I give you one reason, why some people have a problem with it: They use hacked SN's which are blocked with the next update. I hope, you don't count to this people. In the special case of the release of AES 2.x, where the update is totally free of costs for you, the modules have been changed to prevent Memory Allocation problems seen in older version. This modules are used from other addons too, so if you have installed a addon updating the modules to this "bug-free" version, older AES version are not able to handle this. But, as I say, you have nothing to pay (when you are a legal customer) to switch over to the newest version. So, no need for such a loud statement you give here.
