Hi Friends,

I think I read somewhere you can now use Innsbruck Approach for FSX as well. If purchased for FS9 is there a way to update, and if so, how? Thank you.

Hello Seth,

Quote taken from the Approaching Innsbruck product page at Aerosoft.

So no update but a version of it's own for FSX that FS2004 version purchasers will receive free as and when its released.

Additional specifications:

Download-Version ( FSX / FS2004) : Version 1.00, Manual as a .pdf-File (German, English) plus Charts

Both the FSX and FS2004 version of Approaching Innsbruck will be available in a box soon (=> Pre-order the box here ). If you purchase the download version for FS2004 you will be offered the upcoming FSX version as a free download on your order history page.

Hello Timo,

Not as yet but will try to find out Monday or Tuesday.

Hi folks,

We are still working on the FSX-version. This version will not only be an update of the fs9-version but will contain some new features (eg an enhanced coverage of the photo-scenery). To be honest I am struggling with the terrain for the moment. So I am not really able to give you an indication for the release. But we are working hard - believe me! ;)

Hi folks,

seems to be a good date to keep you informed about the current status of the FSX-version. I had severe troubles with the terrain but I could solve the issue. These problems blocked my work for about four weeks, and therefore I am really glad to be able to proceed now with the placements of objects and effects. Please do not ask about a release date - I will need a couple of weeks for placement and testing.

What you can see here is the view to the west. Please be advised that the areal photo is significantly bigger than in the FS9er version. It covers a range from Absam to Völs (east-west) and the Nordkette to Mutters (north-east). The airport is finished as far as the terrain and the photo is concerned. All lines and markings are finished as well as the runway lights.

Gianni, keep up the good work. I am glad to hear that you were able to overcome the issues, and looking forward to getting the box in the mail.
