I don't get it - why have every FSX only Product have to start a FS9 vs FSX Conversation? I want read in this thread about the CRJ, not about FS9 vs FSX

Can't wait for the next previews and / or information about this bird :)

Me too!

Please just the facts about the CRJ.
All Forums are full of threads about FS9 vs FSX. I am tired of reading it all the Time when a product is announced!

Oh no... only the externals are being worked on so far. This is not a hobby development done in free time as many others. This is modeled by full time staff and then things progress rather fast.

I think this is by far the most interesting product for FSX in 2010. If we ingnore the 737NGX for a moment.

Looking forward to see some pics...

Defently man, this is going to be one hell of a plane, as long as the FPS are good, the VC is good and the systems are in-depth, I'm going to love it.

I know it's very early on but, I see that the door with a built in stairs is modeled, Will the version without a stairs also be moddled because with the
default CRJ it's very anoying with AES and the Stairs going through the jetway / airStairs.

Actually unless you have a very old video card it probably is not needed. Most frames per second and responsiveness in Flight sim is derived from sheer CPU power. 50% + of performance is derived via the cpu, the remainder isa split between the Memory speed and Videocard.
Look at upgrading your CPU, if possible before upgrading video card. And Speed matters more then number of cores I find, I nice 3.0ghz dual core like say a E8400 or one of the new Phenom X 2's are a
decent budget wise upgrade.

Any chance way down the road this CRJ could be morphed into it's distant cousin, the Global Express? Long range biz jets are definately missing from FSX and I realize some of the biz jet corperations like Gulfstream aren't too keen on having their planes made in FS but since you obviously have the OK for the CRJ, I would assume a Global Express would be allowed too.

Cheers
