I was thinking of some airports from developers you mentioned in the region itself, such as Santiago, but cannot think of others within the medium to short sector.

I'm, not sure where you took Sucre from... The Sucre you refer to is not the Sucre LatinVFR has modeled. They have modeled Sucre in Bolivia, not Ecuador. I think the poster actually asked about Cusco, not Sucre, for which you can find basic info here (regarding connection and flights):
http://en.wikipedia....ational_Airport
As you can see, not to many connections exist, and many of them do not have any scenery (not in FSX, anyway). LatinVFR is gonna do La Paz though, but I don't know when they will do it.
Lol, you are right... My mistake, sorry

Jerry

Please, after finish this project, think about starting a new one of Maiquetía (SVMI) and La Carlota, in Caracas, Venezuela. there is no really good project from both and the city. Then we could flight from Cusco to Maiquetía.

Definitely looking amazing!!
One question though, does FSX recognize the runway?
Perhaps not a very clear question, what I mean is the following:
often sloped runways are just ground textures, which makes FSX think the airport doesn't have a runway (or a 0 ft long runway), although it has.
This causes problem with addons like for example Air Hauler and other monitoring programs that rely on FSX telemetry.
So will FSX register you landing on that great looking runway, or will it just think you landed on the dirt?

The airport has a runway at the exact length and heigt, but for technical reasons its width is 0ft, so Air Hauler will probably report a bad landing. There's nothing we can do against it.
Yesterday I watched the first AI aircraft take off from the bumpy runway - that was quite nice.

As long as the runway length is OK, Air hauler will work. Runway width doesn't seem to matter that much. Not completely sure, but that's my guess. Don't know about other programs though.
I can imagine it's nice to see the AI take off from there... This really is an interesting project! congratz with the work so far!

Just to inform you, Cusco is on final at this moment. As we can't get access to legal charts we got to have them made by Konrad and that adds a bit of time.

Looks absolutly great! I wonder how AI-Traffic will work on this sloped runway!
But the runway-texture looks very coarse-grained, not really realistic. I hope this texture will be changed before release.

On 3D runways you can't use the same techniques as with flat airports like our MegaAirports, but I'm sure you will like it if you see it live in your sim.
