can you please fix the GPWS please

referring to this video > http://www.youtube.c...h?v=b4GmYrWVXe4

the quality of the audio callouts i don't care about as long as i can replace them

but please fix the way they trigger!!!

please add the 1000, 500, 10, 5 callouts and if you can the "100 above"!

and please make the retard callout at around 18 feet! and make it repeat a little slower

I have bought this Airbus and i like him. When all these major bugs are fixed then please correct the call outs like sr71blackbird said and put it in SP1. Its not a big thing, but brings this beauty near to the real Bus and makes it more enjoyable.

Thank you!

Chris

We have made good progress fixing some of the major issues..

We found that climb performance for SP2 users (those not using acceleration pack) was flawed - this has been fixed by now.

I have found a way to fix the nosedip when flying manually. FSX can be spooky at times.

The fix for the manual flightmode during landing alo has helped on autoland performance.

I still want the beta testers to test this, if reports are positive, I then need time to fix and change a few items affected by this.

SP1 will offcourse include other fixes.

Just to keep You updated.

Finn

do we get any hint when this sp1 will come out? or do i need to buy accel. pack now? just a small statement would be nice...

I don't think, that you need to wait for Week's and it makes no sense to press, it's better when it will fix the issues, then to be too fast available.

But, what I can say, for FSX SP2 Users, the SP1 will bring a new aircraft (regarding flight dynamics).

Absolute perfect landable now.

So give Finn and the testers all the time they need to make it perfect as possible.

When you are SP2 users with the know issues, park the aircraft into the maintenance hangar for a C-Check. When the fix is implemented there, you can role it out again.

Awsome to hear; i use sp2 no excel; and am so happy re flght performance; only slow cruise plagues me; so I will still fly and wait for the patch anyhow as she flies brilliantly otherwise in all stages for flight fo me. LOVE THIS PLANE! Really enjoed some great flights this past week!

So... don't fly it... it useless at the moment? How about a refund then?

They must do a good job with the SP1 then. Certainly the autolanding and manual landing. I crashed 12 flights and landed 1 in a proper way!

I've crashed 1 in about 12 and 1-2 hard landings.

Its needs works for sure and a good SP1. But some forward thinking coming into land and she is OK.

Give them a break we can all see how hard and fast there tying to sort out all the feed back and bugs out.

I tell you; I'm going slow... plane (fuel, cargo passengers) is almost empty... plane is perfectly lined up with the localizer, landing config is oke..., descent rate to the runway (folowing glideslope) is -700 (too fast), glideslope is perfectly centered until touchdown, flare with 100 ft to go... but my landing is still with a descentrate of -500 on touchdown and blowing my tires in fspassengers! Crazy! I have set everything allright. I followed the manual, hints from other users etc.... I have so many experience on several airplanes in fsx. I played this game for hours every per week since the launch of the game. Don't tell me it's me!

I'm starting to get pissed!

Hello Martin,

I am also using FS Passengers and I have many many blowouts with this plane. With only 50% passengers and cargo. 10% fuel at landing, right course on MCDU page NAV/RAD it works with 350 to 450 ft/min at touchdown. I think the plane is on the right way and I hope SP1 is a solution for that ;). Could be there as an additional difference because I am using FS+Accelaration, my Airbus was the A321 IAE with Lufthansa livery.

Regards Joerg

OK its not you!

Have you tryed

Did you follow the in depth way to un-install v1.0?

Have you deleted you fsx.config file so it builds a new one after installed 1.11?

Have you got SP2 or Acc?

Anyway GL finding out whats wrong. I must be just lucky with this Bus.

Martin (and those who are whining)...

I hate to be the guy who really needs to say this, but it needs to be said:

1. ALL FS aircraft, every single one of them, have had bugs when they were first released. Yes, this one has a few ugly ones...

2. Aerosoft is doing a really excellent job of communicating and responding to issues as well as updating us on the progress of SP1.

3. For me, the aircraft is really unflyable (partially due to the fact I don't have a wheel mouse), so parking it until SP1 is done is a good idea.

4. Don't ask for a refund. You agreed to the terms/conditions when you bought the airplane and a refund is not part of the deal...asking for a refund when they make a reasonable statement about the situation with the aircraft just makes you look silly and causes frustration for Aerosoft as they have to respond to it.

5. BE PATIENT. By their actions in responding to the issues with this aircraft, they have earned my confidence and I will wait for the fix.

I am absolutely certain that Aerosoft understands the frustration that we are feeling, we don't need to continually slap them across the face when they are really busting their butts to fix it.

Let's be professional here...after all, we are emulating real professionals.

The MCDU computed 104.0% at 80kts N1 was 101.4%; it's still an issue being worked on.

Bob

Now that IS an interesting and positive development. TOGA at MSL should be in the 102-104% range I believe (from FCOM and stuff), and it actually providing 101.4% TOGA at 80IAS is a real step up...

If you do not mind, I wish to pose another question.

How is the FLEX takeoff now working? Do you get a reasonably reduced N1 calculated, whose actual value is similar after advancing to MCT/FLX, and do the engines deliver the TOGA thrust as displayed (or as you wrote, approx. 102%), and a drop to MCT (and not FLX) when the levers go back to that detent?

Thanks...

Andrew

FS passanges sucks ass with their stupid tire blowing; I kept blowing them on the default 737; now use fdsfsx panel for cabin sounds and could not be happier as I chose what when and who I play!! Plus I gain 1-2 fps as that program aint running in the background calculatuing crap! I HATED FS Passanegers; they should really allow users to disable that whole tire thing. What a joke! I'm on 1.0 on the bus and always land 300-500fpm autoland and have done 15+ now. She lands awsome for me:)

How about you buying a car you can't drive in because of some technical problems? Or whatever products in a shop that are useless untill you return them and have them fixed. You can't sell broken materials. I'm somewhat not getting why that should be okay with software. But I get that software is responding different at serveral computers. I just felt that aerosoft didn't take some problems seriously. I read a few threads that began with a problem and the first response is: you must have done this or that wrong. That is annoying since I'm a guy who is really reading well and is searching a forum when there is a serious problem. I read someone saying: my can't land manually. Response: your own mistake. Later: We will make a patch...

Anyway; I think the plane is great. Fantastic graphics, far better then I have seen so far. Response is excellent and flying is getting fun! Let the be no misunderstanding with that one. But the landing issue is very frustrating. I can't even do in manually, because the nose won't pitch. But I'll have my patience.

I was just annoyed by a post that said "Don't fly it until the fix" . That's a huge statement. Before I read that, I was having lots of patience. But this statement indicates that the plane is unflyable because of the landing issues. A beautiful plane that can't fly (in my fsx config anyway). I think that is pretty bad. But: GO AEROSOFT! Make my plane land and it will be the best plane I ever flown in!

Happy waiting in the hangar!

i agree also to 100% i don´t like it that it seems with software it´s not the same as with "real" things from any shop. and the way people who are not satisfied are treated here is often arrogant. but it seems to be normal with software that the user is always the idiot. just my impressions.

You would be surprised how many people will come and ask on a forum before they will bother to read the manuals first, they want instance gratification for zero effort. And no I'm not saying that anyone in this thread is guilty of that, I'm just adding my 2p.
